I’ve always enjoyed following along with the One Room Challenge that happens twice a year by a handful of talented design bloggers, as they transform one room in their home in 6 short weeks. For the challenge this spring, we we’re able to collaborate with Jennifer over at the Rambling Renovator and provided some fabulous Hay Design Wall Sconce for her tropical themed dining room design, and we must say they look fabulous!
Here is a before look at the room
And here is a sneak peak at the transformation
Jen has captured a laid back boho beach look, and done a fab job at mix both modern and traditional pieces into her dining room and the end result is lovely. Read all about the transformation and see more pictures over on her blog.
This beautiful Nordic kitchen encompasses pretty soft colors, natural wood and metals in the light and airy space. The vaulted ceiling finished in wood paneling and slender beams adds stunning texture and detail to the roof.
The island (swoon!), spans four meters in length, is double wide and complete with three wide Dinesen Douglas pine planks, it looks fantastic. We also love the simple lighting used, it all ties together into a beautiful and tranquil kitchen space that has a timeless feel.
